General Election

There is something hugely wrong with a democracy, when you choose to vote for the person who you least disagree with as opposed to the ideology which you agree with.
The Tories and Labour will tell you that the choice in the election is them, and only them. They will add afterwards that a vote for the Lib Dems is a waste of a vote as they have no chance of power. Not only is that a complete fallacy, it is a lie which many people have unfortunately ended up believing. I tire of how many people say, "I agree with the Lib Dems" but won't vote for them because of that. Where along the line did people forget that the power belongs to them? When did people willingly lie down and without question do what authority told them to?!
It is not only a tragedy when people will vote for a party they disagree with out of fear of another party getting in, it is undemocratic.
